1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Ivan Soto (“we”, “us”) for the Minis app. By using the app, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
2. The app
Minis is a free puzzle game. It may show ads, and may offer optional in-app purchases (such as removing ads); purchases are handled by Apple under its terms. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules. We may change, add or remove games and features, and we may stop offering the app.
3. Accounts
You can play without an account (as a guest), or sign in with Apple or Google to keep your progress on every device. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account; deleting it removes your progress for good.
4. Fair play
Please don't:
- cheat, or modify the app or its traffic to change scores or the daily ranking;
- interfere with, overload or try to get unauthorised access to the app or its servers;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it;
- use the app in a way that breaks the law.
We may remove scores that look manipulated, and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.
5. Scores and rankings
Points, streaks, levels and rankings are just for fun. They have no monetary value, can't be exchanged for anything, and may be reset or adjusted, for example when we rebalance a game.
6. Our content
The app, its games, artwork and code belong to us or our licensors. The word games use a word list derived from SCOWL; fonts, icons and the game engine are used under their open-source licences (see credits). Some game names describe a well-known style of puzzle; they don't imply any connection with the owners of similar games.
7. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without owing you anything.
8. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your progress will never be lost.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract.
10. Apple
If you got Minis from the App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and isn't responsible for any claims relating to the app (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual property claims). If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you're not in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or listed as a prohibited or restricted party. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies where these terms don't cover something.
11. Ending
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections 5 to 9 and 12 continue to apply after that.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, except where the law of the country you live in gives you protections that can't be waived.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change is significant. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
